Boy at the beach

Ghana is a country in West Africa. It is bordered by the Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Togo, and the Gulf of Guinea (Atlantic Ocean). The length from the coast up to the North of Ghana is 680 km. The coast with a total length of 535 km is mainly flat with plenty of lagoons. A rocky coastline exists only in a few places, such as in Accra. That is why you can find plenty of exceptional long and secluded beaches all along the coast, which are just stunning. Small fishing villages, mainly consisting of traditional clay or colourful painted wooden huts are occasionally built between the bays.
